HOPE, DIGNITY & SOCIAL JUSTICE
Neighhors' Consejo receives contributions through our fundraising events. We are a qualified organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Gifts made are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

During the last 14 years, Neighbors' Consejo has evolved to become a link to the community by offering multiservices in the Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan, and Columbia Heights neighborhoods of Washington, DC. We started our community services in a basement on Lamont Street and then expanded to a historic house at 3118 16th Street, NW. During these years, Neighbors' Consejo has been recognized as the Model for our social services--particularly treatment for homelessness, substance abuse, and mental illness, as well as programs for workforce and community development.
By immersion into the community, Neighbors' Consejo is expanding its programs to become the best residential and transitional housing and outpatient programs throughout the United States--but most importantly to be recognized throughout our community as the # 1 multiservices organization.
To meet our future goals, Neighbors' Consejo needs:
- Individual and community donations
- Corporate sponsorships and monetary funds
- Volunteer and interns who can help us addresses our community needs.
The appointment of our new Executive Director, Alfredo Morales, is one of our first steps toward our future. Alfredo brings a fresh, new vision and commitment--the vision that our social services and programs will become the national model and the commitment to our community to provide more, and improved, services. Another significant step is the redesigned and enlarged website, adding more information about what we do and plan to do in order to better serve our community.
