Residential Housing Program CASA PAZ
Bringing Peace, While Receiving Help.

"Casa Paz" translated into English mean The House of Peace. This house of peace is part of The Transitional Housing Program.  Casa Paz is fully-certified through the Department of Health as a Community Residential Facility (CRF). There are three treatment services: residential, transitional, and outpatient.

Level One: Residential Treatment Program Goal and Philosophy:

The goal of the Residential Housing Program is to provide a stable foundation upon which residents can build healthy and productive lifestyles.

Neighbors' Consejo's Model draws on the philosophy that residents who live, study, and work together are more likely to draw support and help from one another through the recovery process.

Inpatient and Timeframe:

Casa Paz is the first step of recovery for our clients. Once clients are accepted to the program, they become a resident of Casa Paz. The program requires for all residents to attend rehabilitative therapy, A.A. group meetings, and individual counseling sessions. Neighbors' Consejo supports each resident and offers ongoing case management services.

During  the program's period of 3-6 months (depending on the need of the clients), residents receive a wide range of supportive services. These include mental health counseling and treatment, from substance abuse life skills, vocational course training, employment services and ongoing case management.

By the end of our program, many of our residents become stable employees, maintain a savings account and become dependable for real progress toward independence. We highly encourage entrepreneurship, through the Food Handler ProgramHowever, for those who need continuous assistance they can particpate in Level Two: Transitional Treatment Program "Casa Libertad."
