I am the executive director of Neighbors' Consejo. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., a block away from the agency on 16th and Irving in the first affordable housing movement. It is a privilege to give back to the community and assist in making our neighborhood a better and safer place.

Alejandra is a Quality Improvement Specialist. She has been with us since October of 2010 after having graduated from the University of Dallas with a B.A. in political philosophy in 2008. Proano moved to the United States from Quito, Ecuador in 2003 and currently lives in DC. She wanted to work with the Latino community in order to give back to her own culture. She is interested in possibly pursuing a career in international human rights or immigration law.

Jorge works in Administrative Support. He has been with us since January of 2011 and is currently attending Strayer University for Business Administration. Originally from Lima, Peru, Garcia moved to the United States in 2000 and he currently lives in Arlington, VA.
