About Us : Our Team |
| Neighbors' Consejo employs a team of 35 professionals and paraprofessionals including outreach workers, case managers, mental health therapists, substance abuse counselors, employment specialists, English-as-a-Second-Language ( ESL ) instructors, computer teachers, administrators, and support staff. Their work is enhanced by a pool of volunteers and student interns devoted to the mission of the organization. Our bilingual team has extensive experience working with the homeless and at-risk populations. We understand the diversity of the community and the problems that low-income and homeless individuals face.
In addition, Neighbors’ Consejo is guided by a volunteer board of directors that sets the overall mission and direction for our team. They also have fiduciary responsibility for the organization to ensure the long-term viability of our programs and services.
In all, our team is committed to rekindling Hope in those we serve, recognizing and respecting their Dignity, and fighting for their right to Justice.
