Neighbors' Consejo facilitates program participants to be agents in social change around the anti-poverty issues they identify.
Collectively we make ourselves visible and heard through critical consciousness workshops, issue-based strategy sessions, action research, independent media, and when directly engaging city officials.
You'll find us walking the talk knocking on the doors of the Wilson Building, providing testimony at City Council hearings, raising critical questions at neighborhood forums, and demonstrating with others on the streets of D.C.
